Hello, I’m Pamela
Shockey, one of the buyers for lou lou!
I was born and raised in Bethesda, MD. I attended Savannah College of
Art and Design in Savannah, GA, Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, MA
and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a major in Art
Studio, from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. I moved to
Loudoun County, Virginia over ten years ago. I
live in this beautiful part of the country with my husband, two boys and two
dogs. Not only do I have a passion for
art but for fashion as well!
My love for fashion
developed early on in grade school. As a
pre-teen, I would beg my mom to take me to Benneton to pick out various candy
colored wool sweaters. The euphoria I
felt after acquiring this beautiful garment would last for months, as I would
wear this piece again and again. I also
experimented with my style by applying Clorox washes to my jeans to get a
desired effect. Not only did I love the
results, but my friends did too. Naturally,
my style has evolved over the years. These
days I feel most comfortable in a tank top, open cardigan and skinny jeans with
my favorite lou lou accessories.
My artistic background
and retail experience have helped me tremendously when looking for the best
pieces to offer our lou lou customers. I
take pride in finding some of the unique and one of a kind pieces that both lou
lou accessory and clothing stores have to offer. It is so gratifying to see my finds come to
life in our boutiques. I love the
challenge of choosing the right merchandise for our fashion conscious
customers. Our goal is to have something
for everyone in every budget!
