Hey
lou lou Fashionistas!! My name is Kelli and I am one of the buyers for lou lou.
I attended Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and studied sociology. I moved back
to MD after college and found a job with lou lou. I first started off as the
manager of the lou lou Bethesda location and then expressed my interest in
becoming a buyer.
I've
always had an interest in fashion. Attending an all-girls college, it was like
a walking runway everyday! Every girl had their own specific style expressed in
many different ways. It was so inspiring to see everyone's creativity. Aside
from reading trend reports and magazines, I get inspired watching everyday
people walking around on the street. You would be amazed at how different
everyone's style is just from sitting and observing.
My
creativity is expressed through buying. When I buy for the stores, I don't have
one specific person in mind, I have several! Each person’s style is different
in their own way, and as a buyer it’s my job to fulfill that.
When
I'm not having fun traveling and buying for work, I love to hang out with my
fiancé, family and friends! I also love to travel, try new restaurants, host
gatherings and sing karaoke. I'm pretty much the queen of karaoke. :)
I
