As we review the Resort and Spring collections for this year, it seems that the trend in jewelry is away from the large-scale, exaggerated necklace and towards statement earrings. Lately I have been looking for simple but unique pieces that can easily fit in with all of the accessories I have and both of these fit that bill. This ring (by Kenneth Jay Lane who has designed for Jackie O, Oprah, and even the Duchess of Windsor!) is just the funky piece that will make a stranger gasp and ask where you got it but is still basic enough to coordinate with any gold pieces you already have. The purse is big, fun and an amazing shade of mustard yellow that goes with black or brown (and every other color in your wardrobe!).
